2012 Furby - Love love love this

If you liked the old Furbys, you will absolutely fall in love with the new ones. If you're like me and thought the old ones were just too simplistic, but were still intrigued by them, check out the new ones. And don't let anyone tell you that they are for a particular age group. I'm 36 and love it and have many adult friends that got their own after seeing the one they got their kids :)
Very cute cure for boredom

I loved my original Furby as a child. I never could understand why anyone thought it was annoying! As an adult, it's a cute dose of nostalgia. It will make a nice conversation piece when I have guests over, too.
The changing personality and iPhone app really add a lot. It's also very quick to go to sleep when you put it away. I'd say it takes around two minutes, so no worries about an "annoying" factor. I also don't feel Hasbro Furby is loud. I doubt this will drive parents to madness.
For children, this does seem to have more of a cuddliness factor than the original. It's fur is soft and it's ears are rubbery. It doesn't have that mechanical smell that my old Furby had.
